The China Heart experience reveals secrets of the streets of Sydney’s Chinatown. If you ever wander off track, simply click on the Locations & Map area in the toolbar at the top of each screen. This will take you to the map screen showing all the China Heart locations and addresses.

What phones can I use China Heart on?
iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 with iOS 4.0 or later. China Heart will not work on an iPhone 3 due to some differences in handset capabilities.
Is China Heart available for Android?
At the moment, there is only an app for iPhone for China Heart. Android and other mobile users can still experience China Heart through the mobile site.
Where can I download the app?
China Heart is available through the iTunes App Store. Follow the link on the Introduction page or go there directly on your phone. As the app is large, you should only download it via wifi either at home or at a location where you can access free public wifi prior to beginning the tour.
Are there any costs associated with using the service?
The app is free and once downloaded the majority of the content resides in the application itself. Please note, there are additional video oral histories for Albion Place that can be viewed via the website. Watching this additional content on your phone will use your data plan and you could incur data charges. All additional content can be viewed at home or at venues where wifi is available free to the public.
Do I need headphones?
It is advisable to bring headphones to be able to listen to the video content on noisy busy streets.
How long does the app take to complete?
The walking tour takes 1 - 2 hours to complete, depending on how fast or slow you go, and whether you stop off for a relaxing coffee. Note that some venues offer free wifi, making them perfect paces to view the extra content at no cost.
Can I complete China Heart over several days?
China Heart can be done at your own pace in one session or over a number of days. You can start and stop at any time and do not need to follow the story in the order recommended. Also, once a clue is unlocked it remains unlocked.
